"Cannot recommend Motorcycle Law Scotland highly enough. Even when I was lying in my hospital bed, friends were telling me to contact MLS.

Brenda came to my home to speak with me and my wife within a week of the accident and to get a feel for what had happened to cause my injury, as well as what impact the accident would have on our lifestyle.

I had been hit from behind on the Edinburgh City Bypass and sustained a compound left wrist
fracture, cracked ribs and soft tissue damage to my left knee and knuckles on left hand.

We were both still quite emotional during the visit but Brenda was extremely understanding and professional in her advice to us. We were due to ride to Portugal 2 weeks after the accident and had been planning that trip for almost a year, but being thankful to be alive overtook the disappointment at missing out on the trip.

In the industry I work in, i don't get sick pay when off and, to be honest, I have never worried about that before.

During my time off and throughout the claim, MLS were able to secure an interim payment for me to compensate for wages lost, ensuring we were not out of pocket financially while I was recuperating.

Unfortunately, my bike had to be written off as the repair cost was too high. The claim for the bike was settled within 3 months. MLS also secured a hire car for me in place of my bike, as although I was fit to drive after 6 weeks, I was the unable to handle a bike at that time.

I was kept up to date at every step throughout claim and felt able to contact Zara in the office, who was extremely helpful, with any questions or queries I had.

I received physiotherapy input through the NHS, although going private was also an option open to me. However my GP ensured a quick referral so I didn't need to claim for that.

I received my settlement around 9 months after my accident and was happy with the outcome.

I understand now why all my friends recommended MLS and I will be doing exactly the same in the unfortunate event that anyone I know needs to contact them.

Thank you from both myself and my wife."
